For both of you I shot some pics of the internals. I can't see any specific IC that would indicate its a MPX IC. There are adjustments inside, but nothing near any chips. Here are the pics. Let me know what you see and any opinions on the parts used inside would also be welcome. Here is the page:http://www.geocities.com/shpickering/Luxman-tuner.html
Let me know on where the IC chip is and also where I would do some adjusting as recommended.
