I bought some boards from Bill Ammons

I just bought some boards Bill Ammons has for converting these 7 pin OP amps to modern 8 pin. They are marvelously designed and built and for $4.95 a great buy. He found the OPA604 to sound the best.

I'm also buying the three boards he sells for the upgrading the power section, increasing stereo separation and one for increasing IF filters. I'm really impressed with his compact design and workmanship.

Once I'm done I'll let you know how it sounds. Unfortunately when I bought it the tuner had problems so a B/A comparison won't be too meaningful.
