Luxman T-110 Tuner "station lamp"

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

Just picked up a real, real nice Luxman T-110 FM Tuner, apparently MFG in 1975.
Nice rosewood cabinet and it works like a charm, however the moving station tuner light seems to be burnt out.
I looked at it closely, and tried to remove the lamp, but was unsuccessful - so instead of breaking it in my attemp to remove it, I thought I'd better ask the experts here how one removes and replaces this station tuner lamp?
