Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

I usually use the tuner for background music, but as I sat down to do some "serious" vinyl listening the MR80 (playing KCSM Jazz 91.1 in the SF Bay Area) was sounding soooooo darn good I just could not bring myself to turn it off. I am still listening to it.
Sure, there's a little bit'o'static, but who cares ... can't think of anything else I'd rather be listening to right now.
BTW I am using the vertical dipole recommended by you guys (and got rid of those nasty $40 electronic antennae).
Just wanted to share a really magic tuner moment with other enthusiasts.
