I prefer coax with newer & sensitive solid-state tuners from the mid/late 1970s on up. Using an older tube type FM tuner with less than solid-state sensitivity, I want signal losses to be at an absolute minimum. Thus, I will use twin lead. I also do not believe in an RF preamp & not 'big' on 300 to 75 ohm baluns either.
