Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

overpowering BAD station nearby!!

I recently moved to a new town not far from my old one. In my old town I was able to listen to a great jazz station in Long Island at 88.3 I am now very close to a station operating at 88.1 with a fare amout of bleed over to my beloved 88.3! I am using a rooftop tv antenna pointed right at the LI station and the local Monroe CT. station is off to the side of the antenna. I've tried rotating the antenna to different locations with not much luck. I'm using a Luxman T-400 analog tuner which seems to have a good amount of selectivity and sensitivity. The antenna is not all that large, maybe 5 elements at best. Would a larger FM specific antenna be better or would it only increase the gain of the local station as well?
thanks
Jeff
