Hi, jaybar:I have lived in an area in the SF/Bay Area which is really bothered with lots of multipath.
Even though I own some of the best tuners ever made, I still have to switch them occasionally into monaural for clearest reception. You may have to settle for the same, unless you can run a fishing line of wire out to the Brooklyn Bridge!
Do you have access to the roof of your building?
If so, consider placing a 'stealth antenna' up there in the guise of a life-size statue of Mayor Bloomberg.
You could do one of John Gatti, as well. The building "super" won't dare mess with either one!
