Thanks to everyone who has replied so far.I am beginning to think I might just as well give up.
My stereo is located in my living room and my ceilings are poured concrete as well, so I can't go tacking antennas on the ceiling.
Even if I could find a place where the antenna would be inconspicous and in the horrizontal plane (good luck), my visual impairment precludes me from adjusting things for every station.
Sounds like I may have to look for a tuner that is superior in handling multipath and difficult reception such as mine and hope for the best.
