The Md 90 only uses a three stage tuning front end,the 100 uses 4,and the md102 and up uses a five stage front end.As you might guess
the signal to noise gets much better on the upper models and the output stages also get better.With a very good roof antenna and
a good brosdcast the sound quality rivals my cd player,beleive it or not.Everything gets better in the upper md models,but they are not cheap either.Hope that helps.Duane Upshaw
