For FM, a Grundig.
For AM, a Telefunken.
And Sabas and Blaupunkts are great all-rounders.I consider the mid to late 1950's the pinnacle of the table radio era, especially among the W. German makes.
Mind you, you're talking TABLE radios. If you get into consoles, some US models start to make the list.
