... get a bad rap in terms of their RF performance (selectivity and sensitivity). The FM Tunerinfo site's spin (if you will) seems to be more towards radio performance. Perhaps this explains any perceived bias against tubes?My position is very simple. I like good sounding, cheap tuners. There are a number of tubed examples. Mono is fine with me, too!
Come to think of it: are there any really good sounding SS tuners? Sweet, creamy & mellifluous?
