If this is a tube tuner - I can't remember this model from my days on the bench in the 70s, then the first thing to do is make sure that the tube pins and their sockets are clean. I'd suggest you just rock them in place first and see if you get any changes in symptoms.If you do choose to pull the tubes and clean their pins, I'd suggest you do one at a time and replace it before removing another one. There may be some tubes of the same type in some of the sockets. If so, make sure they get back into their proper socket. It may well affect your tuner's alignment, if not.
