I have a Marantz 10b tuner in very good condition except for the dial pointer. The pointer was evidently made of an orange/red fluorescent acrylic(?) plastic which has deteriorated with age, broken off and been lost. A measurement of the tiny remnant remaining showed a thickness of .030". I am acutely aware that many "restorations" do more harm than good but, as this part is essential, I am prepared to attempt replacement. An exact replacement would be nice (ho, ho) but I could also fabricate one from some suitable plastic strip or sheet stock. Any ideas, suggestions or comments will be most welcome!
