Very small for the good sound. You will still want a good directional antenna if at all possible. And it runs hot so it needs an external fan (mine sits on a laptop computer fan base).
Not as "involving" as my McIntosh MR78 but if I had to, I could be happy with only the F1HD.
They can be found used on EBAY although priced higher than original cost of $99.
