Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

RE: Multipath detection

Thanks to all. It was fun putzing around with the scope. I found out that multipath was not a real issue on the stations I listened to.

Unfortunately I am leaving the FM world. The local PBS station has gone to pot - the main station no longer carries music and the secondary station is 10 mi further away and the only puts out 1.4 kW. Both suffer from HD Radio self-noise:. In addition, the secondary plays mostly jazz and other genres at night - I prefer classical. And finally I have gotten to old to climb up on the roof to put up an antenna. I am afraid FM is going the way of 8-track, tape cassettes, and CD. Music sources seem to be driven (no pun intended) by the automobile. Vinyl is an anomaly. HD-FM might be viable but as it is the audio quality sucks and offers no advantages over streaming.
