Home Radio Road

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

Good on you!

:-)! Go to AA's FAQ and read the Rhombic article from the old 'Audio' magazine?

You will realise that knowing where your target transmitters are is vital. The US site called FM Fool can help with that.

Driving a good tuner real hard - with an antenna with a fair bit of gain - is the best (only?) way to maximise its sound quality.

It helps that I have a national classical FM network, and one local community arts station with just a bit of fixed compression.
