Home Radio Road

Which tuner to get and getting the most from it. Thank God, for the radio!

This is potentaillya good wide-band audio AM receiver for the broadcast band?

How wide is the audio bandwidth?

Do you have to add that NRSCA post reception Eq so that it doesn't sound shrill? All AM BCB statiosn use the NRSCA pre-boost. The inverse shape is needed to compensate.

Or are Mr Rippell's mods sufficient.

We have a few very good wide-band audio transmissions on the AM BCB, and I've put a fair effort into getting good sound from my old valve RF stages 'tunah'. Search here.
