Terry DeWick bought one for his R390 and this video I found shows it to work rather well.I did modify the product detector 26 years ago in one of them and it works ok,but now I should probably put it back to original or put the new board in my other R390A which isn't as nice as the one I modded.It was 32 steps and I found the sheet but maybe I can try it in the unmodded one and compare it..I am using a 70v transformer as all these military boat anchors are 600ohm out.
