I recently replaced my old integrated amp with a Rogue Audio Sphinx, a hybrid amp with a tube front end. After the amp is on for about a minute, the tuner stops tuning a HD radio station and the vertical bars that indicate signal strength are all over the place, then are replaced by something that looks like an umbrella. If I turn on the tuner without turning on the amp, it works fine.
Some time ago, there was a discussion of tuner problems with tube equipment near them, however I can't locate it. Right now, the tuner is on the left middle shelf of a three shelf cabinet. The amp is on the bottom right shelf.
Will moving the tuner up to the top left shelf do any good? Will getting a better antenna help or is it the two units being so close together that's the problem? Is their any material I can put between the two that will help? Any other ideas? Thanks.
