I tried the usual cheapo suspects like Terk and Radio Shack and the only thing that worked was the MD Signal Sleuth, sorry!
I found that I didn't need the Signal Sleuth when I upgraded to an Onyko T-9090 Mk.II from the Marantz Model 150.
Also, I found the Ccrane Refektor antenna much better than that MD/Fanfare whip antenna.
