No metal, all Red Oak. I -may- create a small PCB ground plane if noise becomes an issue. Right now (when it was breadborded) I have too much hum, which I beleive is filament based, but I didn't want to focus too much on it until the actual chassis was running (lots of
slop wiring on the breadboard).
