Nice builds. I had some similar ideas (not as wild though) but I've haven't fully figured them out. In particular, I was thinking about two plates held together with standoffs with vented aluminum strips covering the gap similar to what's done with that wild vertical cross shaped amp. What I don't know is how easy it would be to bend the aluminum to shape, and also how would it be fixed into place???
