Voltage rating difference between Kiwame and KOA Speer???

I'm not sure if this is for real, because I have got both KOA Speer and Kiwame resistors on hand, and I see no physical difference at all, but the Kiwame's seem to have a higher voltage rating than do the KOA Speer, which caused me to prefer the former in one high voltage application.
