back nearly 20 years ago when I built these DIY HIFI Supply 'Billies' 300B SET amps, along with BlackGates caps, etc.Many years ago, I clued Brian Cherry (then owner of DIY HIFI Supply in Hong Kong) into the fact that Kiwami resistors were in fact KOA and MUCH less expensive than what he was paying to some distributor in Japan for the Kiwami brand.
And yes, For the RCLCRC power supply the 'R' part should logically be a 5W wire wound.
As far as ordering from DIGI KEY or Mauser or whatever, I find searching for what I want on their web page to be way too time consuming, and I used to do this for work.
