1-1/8" won't clear the socket wall. I was thinking the smallest standard US punch size that would clear is 1-3/16. Doesn't leave much for the socket to hang onto though, and of course, there's no keyway. Thanks for offering, but don't go to the trouble of looking for this. I'll make a test cut at about 1.165" with a keyway to see if it works OK. That's the only way I'll know for sure.
