H+H- P/S connection to pcb F+F-

Pardon the beginner question - I'm doing a phono pre kit and the instructions do not specify this, (probably obvious to most....). - Does polarity need to be maintained between the P/S H+H- connection and the Filament F+ F- on the pcb?
