I'd like to say the mysterious hum problem was solved, but it seems to have been an intermittent issue, since all I had to do was turn the tube headphone amplifier on again, and the hum was gone. It will be interesting to see if the hum returns to find out what the problem might have been, but I'd rather if it didn't. Maybe a tube wasn't seated properly?
