From the discussion so far, you seem to be attributing the recent (and past?) conflict here to primarily one person. I think it takes two or more to tango. My observation is that the same few persons are nearly always at the center of the conflicts. So yeah, maybe there needs to be a bit more moderation activity including deleted posts and threads, "be nice warnings", "do not interact" edicts and involuntary vacations for repeat offenders. OTOH, some might be surprised at the recipient(s) of management's corrective actions. It very well could be based on something other than adherence to established technical conventions. IOW, one should be careful what one wishes for........
