RE: Interesting Heatkit amp, one output tube

The connection timed out for me. There might be something with my firewall or whatever.

But I thought I would mention an amp I saw years ago, and I have a print of it but not on this PC, and the other one is not online. Plus it might take a year to find it.

It ran a pair of tubes push pull for the L+R signal, but drove them in parallel for the L-R signal. There was an interesting arrangement of output transformers, with the primary of the L-R being in series with the power going to the L+R transformer. It was all sorted out at the secondaries.

A novel idea, but not something I would ever build.
