Do It Yourself (DIY) paradise for tube and SET project builders.

RE: Finally ........... it's done.

Put a 8 ohm resistor in place of the speaker.

Drive the amplifier with a tone generator.

Connect a scope across the resistor.

Measure the AC voltage across the 8 ohm resistor just below clipping.

Voltage divided by resistance equals current.

Current times voltage equals watts.

Now you know the output power just below clipping into a 8 ohm resistor.
