The Russian MBGO caps (30uF 160V) have fastening plates / strips on the bottom of the cap that are used to secure the cap. I don't want those plates /strips and would like to remove them while keeping the integrity of the cap's container. Any one out there have experience removing these fastener plates and if so, what is the best method without compromising the cap's container. Thanks for any input.
