I've spend some time with the small 0.22uF 200V k40y-9 russian paper in oil capacitors in the output of my gyrator loaded 26 preamp and to my ears they are excellent. In fact I think they are better than my old Jensen copper foils. Anyways, has anybody done a sound comparison of the k40y-9's with different voltage ratings? Is there something to be gained soundwise from going for the 1000V version (besides getting more oil)?
