..... You only need 1.5vAC...

In my case I use (2) Type 26's as input and driver per channel on my stereo amp. The thought of running 4 Coleman Regs. with the extra heat
from those 20 watt resistors.....nope.

I'm happy using AC filament and a humpot... Keeps things nice and simple and no worries about Regulators....... Sure it Hums but so does my Refrigerator..
