RE: need your help to determine this preamp circuit

Eric - I believe the formula is the Rp in parallel with the plate load. So, 6k parallel 820 = 721 Ohms. There is a Voltage Bridging definition that states, ' the output impedance should be no more than 10% of the following input impedance.' Therefore, in order to drive a load of <2k,you need a preamp that has no more than 200 Ohms Zout. Hard to do with a tube unless you use a big, honkin' power triode (i.e. 6AS7).-Pete
