Hi all.
I have some vintage potentiometers of which I'm trying to determine whether they are log or linear taper.
One is a 1 Meg that is right at 500K at the mid point of rotation so I assume it's linear.
I have two others, Allen Bradley 500K. They both measure very close to 500K and at the mid point of rotation they are just a hair over 300K. Of course, there is some margin of error judging the mid point but assuming that they are 300K at the exact midpoint, should I consider these as log taper or linear?
Thanks
