This is how I determined my speakers are current hungry..

Same approximate listening levels.
Two different amps that sound so different...
Tube amplifier- Sophia electric baby amplifer- bad match.
Solid state amplifier- Parasound Halo 23- Good match, but I miss the sound of tubes.
