Do you see any issues with this voltage divider being in the cathode circuit? I want to monitor voltage which is a quick way to monitor current since current increases as voltage decreases in this circuit. When it gets below a given value(the current state shown) it shuts off high voltage transformer via relay. This of course would have a slight delayed turn on to allow for voltages to come up. Doing all of this with a PIC controller (with the help of a friend).
