RE: Hagerman snubber...

Jeff,

That is exactly where the Hagerman ( one "g" in Hagerman) snubber goes, between the power transformer's secondary, the HV lead outs and their connection to the rectifier.

It is designed to snub the high frequency (100s of KHZ) oscillations that form between the high voltage secondary and the rectifiers !!
