RE: What is "choir" effect from paralled tubes?(nt)

This is a "modern" tube amp build.

I am sure that there are is some terminology that has been adapted from other technical fields to describe what is going in this amplifer circuit.

Perhaps "choir effect" is one of those terms like "transfer efficiency" that is not used in conventional amplifer building.

Since the 12AY7 is a twin triode, one tube could have been used for both channels.

Perhaps using one triode section per tube sounded better for some reason?
