My remarks were directed only against the position of those who hold a single-minded chauvinism for 2A3 and/or DHT approach, and refute the potential validity of other approaches.Again, I was critiquing a particular mindset, not the 2A3 or DHT itself.
Look: Al was earnestly squirming around in every imaginable way in an effort to refute the EL84 circuit as an inproper one. Al clearly has some sort of a preexisting personal emotional interest in doing so. Why? you'd have to ask Al...
Bottom line: I demonstrated logically to Al --patiently and politely at first-- why his criticisms of the circuit were unfounded, one-by-one. Evidenly, this enflamed Al's ego, and so he switched into a quite patronizing and condescending mode. I pushed-back a little, and he obviously does not like that one bit -- Not my problem.
I'm finished explaining my position on this matter.
