Remember to increase the value of the main power supply B+ dropping resistor (Leak, R21) once you decrease the current draw of the EL84s to 24/25 mA each by increasing the cathode bias resistances to approx 560 ohms. And definitely will then need to decrease the value of the input stage B+ supply dropping resistor (Leak R19) too, to accomodate the increased current draw of the 12AU7. I'm sure you have a handle on it.
You should get great results even without the 150H PS choke. I would, however, beef up the value of the 32uF capacitance (Leak C10) filtering the input stage by quickly paralleling in an additional 100 uF cap or something --it will help.
And no, I have not had an opportunity to work with the LEAK Stereo-20 output trannies, but they have a great reputation. Should be very interesting to mod the unit for lower current triode operation.
