The problem here ...

is that you created two varaibles in your experiment - the change from CLCLC to LCLC and the reduction in plate voltage from 320 to 220. So I can't draw any conclusions. That kind of reduction in plate voltage is probably going to shift some operating points rather dramatically.

I would have expected that going from CLCLC to LCLC would have dropped the supply voltage by .9/1.1 to 262 volts, so it makes me wonder what else is going on.
