I agree that it is Class "AB". I like to use the notation "Ab" to indicate what's actually going on.

BTW, Lynn Olsen refers to deep Class "A" in the way he sets PP "finals" up. That's a tacit acknowledgement that (circumstances permitting) a PP pair will eventually enter Class "B" operation.
