I thought of the high frequency roll off and Im only doing it on the line stage and interstage caps but when I did the frequency sweep on the RTA and checked the distortion again at 1khz and 10khz and 15khz and the distortion dropped at 2.5v by about .001 and when I took the ground wire off it went back up by that tiny bit..Frequency response was no change at all..I have actually have some gudeman pios and they have a clamp on them for shield grounding and I was talking to terry dewick he also said you can ground those type caps with no problem because even in highly stable oscillator circuits and RF circuits they ground them so that was the intent of the manfufacturer or military.
