Keep in mind though that a scopes bandwidth specification is generally flat or hopefull now more than 1db down. Heck even that's poor advertising. A 50mhz scope doesn't go blank so to speak at 51mhz. So even if you have a 200mhz oscillation you will still be ble to see it with a 20mhz scope. It's just that the amplitude will display far less than the actual true amplitude. But as no oscillation at 200mhz is good for audio HiFi gear, any value above the noise floor needs attention. Point is, what difference does the accurate amplitude level make?I have a 2ghz Tek Digital Phosper scope but when I hav ethe tubes out I generally reach for my 50mhz Leader. It's just more friendly to use and more than accurate.
