Re: JJ KT77s in my SE Amp

Michael

I actually designed the amp for the KT66s.
But found the SED KT88s more to my liking.
Then I bought a pair of JJ KT77s to try.

OPT are Silk 5K 12 Watts @ 100mA
The current is ~55mA with KT66s and
62mA with KT88s and EL34/KT77 in between.
They all have decent loadlines.
The KT77 being close to max disapation
and the KT88 being just cruising along.
Maybe why the KT88s sound more relaxed.
