Aren't you the one that can tell how poorly something will
sound just by the impedance of the power supply?

Improving on a poor design will help BUT
a better design will beat it 100% of the time.
Design always trumps tweaks IMO.

Everything is audible on a good system.
Power Cords, ICs, isolation feet, AC Filters
Electrolytic vs Metallized vs Film and Foil caps
Vintage NOS vs Newer NOS vs Current Production tubes
A good design will give you better results than
tweaking a poorly chosen loadline design IMO.
That is the point you are missing.
