Hi,Yes I have tried experimenting with bouble bypass many times. Adding .01UF to this once again brings too much speed and high freq. I tried adding .10 and that increased dynamics but also brought on some phase anomolies and harshness. Then added a .22uf and that encroached upon/obscured the midrange pureness and caused some mid bass bloating. Then I tried .47 and even .047, each time finding fault. My next experiment is to add a modified Russian teflon .056 (again to the .22UF). If that doesn't do it for me, I give up and just stick with the single .22UF RTX bypass. Lately I have been experiment with IEC/Fuse/Power Supply wiring parts changes to great effect. I also play around with the capacitor lead out wires to help speed up/slow down the sound.
Have fun....
