Re: Bypass cap question

Hi, thanks for your advice. I am currently experimenting with the V-Cap OIMP( oil impregnated metallized polypropolene) 4.0uf as the main cap. The bypass caps are the V-cap Teflons. I'd like to go with the one larger teflon and forget the bypass, but these V-cap TFTF teflons are very expensive as you go up to larger values. I would be interested in trying the transformer thingy and eliminate the caps in the signal, but I'm not technically knowledgeable enough to try a project like that.
