All the data sheets say 4.5K OPT for the KT66.
The plate impedance is about 1450 ohms.
And I am using a 5K OPT.
Why would you need more than that?
KT66 Operating Point of 420V @ 55mA.
While the 6550 is running at 60mA.
And the EL34 is somewhere in between.DanL
